Heartland Bible College requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) for entrance. Prior college experience, though not required, is helpful because the level of instruction and learning hours are comparable to those of an accredited Bible College. As a Christian training institution, Heartland Bible College requires applicants to affirm and agree with the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed. An application process, including a non-refundable application fee, is required for enrollment in the program for all credit and
audit (non-credit) students.
Registration for classes takes place four to six weeks before the Fall, Winter, and Spring Trimesters. Classes can be taken for credit or audit (no credit is awarded). All students, whether taking coursework for credit or audit, must complete a registration form, pay an application fee of $25.00, and provide a personal picture.
Heartland Bible College currently offers one course of study: the one-year, twenty-six-unit (one bonus class) Christian Ministry Certification program, consisting of nine core courses, two ministry seminars, a directed study, and three ministry mentoring internships (one each trimester).
Heartland Bible College functions as an adult-education institution. Satisfactory completion of all course assignments is the basis of credit. Grading is based on the following scale:
A = 93-100
A- = 90-92
B+ = 88-89
